It's Halloween Treat Bucket Time!

Friday 7. 14 - Old school style treat buckets, started with balloons to make the shapes and sizes ... On this rainy afternoon I'm tearing strips of vintage dictionary pages to line each bucket ... then comes sculpting whimsical characters heads on each ... jack o'lantern pumpkins, black cats, devils ... hmmmm what else?

Friday 7.21 - What a difference a week makes ... at least on my art table! All the treat buckets are hand-sculpted, and I took your suggestions; bats, vampires, cats, JOL pumpkins, skulls and devils ~ thank you! Next is a bit of sanding, a coat of gesso to seal - then it's painting time!

They'll all be with me at Bewitching Peddlers of Halloween on September 30th, at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds in Marshall, Michigan #bewitchingpeddlersofhalloween
