American Holiday Artists Studios Marketplace opens August 25, 5pm (EST) with Grand Giveaways!

The American Holiday Artists (AhA) Studios Marketplace is open for business August 25th at 5pm (EST)!

And to celebrate this momentous occasion all Ahartisans are participating in a Blog Give-away! This Give-away will run from August 25th (5pm - EST) through September 12th (5pm - EST). The rules are very simple, and you have a chance to win more than one prize.

Here's how it works.

First, each Ahartisan has posted a picture of our give-away prize clearly marked on our blogs. Next we have all chosen a random number.

July Market and Artist Market at Dragonfly Hill

Dragonfly Hill was full of vintage treasures during July's Market and on Saturday's Artist Market we had a delightful group of Artisans with their artistic treasures for all to enjoy too!

Jocelyn of "Absolutely Aprons" wants everyone to "Have some fun in the kitchen" with her wonderful handmade aprons. Lori and her daughter of "Vintage Glass Gardens" had some "Mom and Me" time as they made their towering vintage glass creations to hold candles or anything else you'd like. Meredith of "Mulberry Marsh Design" was spinning away at her wheel with handspun wool yarn and her hand knitted works for the cold months ahead. Jack had an incredible display of photos and photo prints from his and his wife, Estelle's travels across the world - it was almost like being there. Alycia of Alycia's Art had her colorful array of papier mache creations for every holiday.

Come and join the fun next month when our August Market is August 19, 20 and 21 - with our artist setting up on the 21 on Dragonfly Hill's Lawn!

“Summer Solstice” is the theme for the June 17 - 19 Market and we’ll have treasures old & new to celebrate Summer’s long days & nights. Vintage furniture, refurbished, repurposed, collectibles, linens, art, jewelry and so much more for your Home, Cabin, Beach Cottage or where ever you like to spend those warm days, cooling off.

On Saturday (June 19) we'll have Dragonfly Hill's Artisans Market on the lawn. I'll be there with all my papier mache creations for every holiday!

Information about the Holiday Shopping Event:
On December 5, 2009 from 6 - 9 PM Ascension Memorial Church will host a Holiday Shopping Event in Boone Hall at Ascension Memorial Church, 31 County Street, Ipswich, MA. 01938.

This event will be open to the public and there is a $5 entrance donation. Appetizers, desserts, wine & punch will be served and there will be lots of great raffle items. Shop at over 20 vendors with products including children's toys, skin care products, jewelry, soy candles, art work, woodcrafts, holiday foods and handbags. Come out for a fun night of shopping, supporting local small businesses and avoid the crowded malls!

Thanks for coming by to visit me at Newburyport's Fall Harvest Festival. Though it was a very chilly two days - it was so much fun and such a pleasure to meet everyone and introduce them to my papier mache creations. "Where Has the Summer Gone?"

Well, September is just around the corner - or I should say weekend. Hard to believe the Summer has just whizzed by so fast. Cool weather has already set into New England and I'm ready for Autumn. I've been busy in my art room working on fun creations for Halloween. I will also be posting new items in my Etsy shop this week - so keep a look out.
